Ray Lynch received his degree in Exercise Science from Columbus State University in 2014, where he also worked as a personal trainer. While at Columbus State University, Ray also served Fitness Coordinator/Manager of the TSYS YMCA for 4 years in Columbus, Georgia.

In the Fall of 2015, he was awarded the Georgia Foundation for Physical Therapy scholarship while attending physical therapy school at Mercer University, with the award recognizing current and potential future contributions to the field of physical therapy. Ray received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mercer University and was the recipient of the Merit Award for his class in 2017. During his time at Mercer University, Ray served as both class vice president and vice president for the student special interest group of Georgia. Following completion of his Doctorate, he completed Mercer University’s Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency program and is scheduled to test for specialization in orthopedics in March 2019.

Dr. Lynch’s clinical interests and specialties include sports and athletic injuries, aerodynamics, manual therapy, dry needling, spinal mobilization/manipulation, movement analysis, kinesiology taping, and injury prevention and wellness. His main interest is observing the role of mobility and health of the nerve and its’ potential to limit or restrict movement required for sporting activities.

Dr. Lynch is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the Physical Therapy Association of Georgia (PTAG), and he is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor.

Ray and his wife, Morgan, live in Columbus, GA with their two kids and their dog. In his spare time, Ray enjoys working out, playing basketball and tennis, and watching the Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Braves, and Atlanta Falcons
